Thought, senses and truth
The senses tell us what is real, not the conceptual mind.
For that only gives us thoughts about something and not the thing, itself.
Senses give direct information about actual realities, moment by moment.
We cannot say that senses report exactly as something is because that is philosophically impossible to do.
Thought has its own reality and directs the attention but cannot be said to be equivalent to matter.
That is, it is not a direct link to physical reality but a separate faculty that uses physical reality as its subject.
